This section gives a glimpse of the office-bearers and members of the Executive Committee of the Bethel Agricultural Fellowship. These are individuals who are committed to the Word of God and are passionate to serve the neediest people in the Society as demonstrated and commanded by Jesus Christ.
A seasoned Chartered and Cost Accountant, Mr. Sam Nirmal brings a wealth of corporate finance and management expertise to Bethel. After a successful corporate career, he switched over to the Development Sector in 2001. Since then he has served the marginalised people through World Vision, Help A Child and Woord en Daad. He has been on the Bethel Board since 2013.
Dr. Alfred Daniel is a renowned orthopedic surgeon and isthe head of CMC Vellore’s Orthopaedic Department. He has also served as the Principal of Christian Medical College. His expertise in health-care is an invaluable asset to Bethel. He has been on the Bethel Board since 2020.
Dr. Chandrasekhar, a retired veterinary doctor, has had a long association with Bethel. He joined the Board in 1984. His passion for Bethel’s mission and his unwavering dedication have been pivotal to Bethel’s development and growth over the years.
Dr. Gibson Vedamani is an authority on the retail industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Retail Management and has authored three books, including the best-seller “Retail Beyond Detail”. He was the founding CEO of the Retailers Association of India. He has been serving the Bethel Board since 2017.
Mr. Jeyakumar is a retired HR professional with a rich corporate experience. Although he joined the Board only in 1984, he has been closely associated with Bethel right from its inception in 1963. He has served as Bethel’s Vice President for many years.
A leading advocate and senior counsel at the Madras High Court, Mr. Ravi Paul’s wisdom and legal expertise are invaluable to the organisation. He joined the Board in 2008.
Mr. Elango, an accomplished advertising professional and branding specialist, is Vice President at FCB Interface Communications, Chennai. He joined the Bethel Board in 2021. Bethel benefits immensely from his advertising and communications expertise.
Rev. John Berlin is an alumnus of the Bethel Bible Institute. He is a gifted Bible teacher and currently serves as the General Secretary of Friends Missionary Prayer Band. He has been on Bethel’s board since 2021.
A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience, Mr. Wellington joined the Bethel Board in 2022. He brings to the table his extensive legal and statutory compliance expertise.
An accomplished engineer and businessman, Mr. Prabhakar Durai joined the Bethel Board in 2023. He brings to the Board, his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills that he has gained through running his company that manufactures Helicord Power Transmission Belts.
